I have spent the last 7 or 8 years at the Cochrun's house on Halloween. The only thing that rivals their Christmas Party is their Halloween Party. Steve cooks a big pot of Shrimp Bisque and the neighbors stop by for a bowl of it and a glass of wine. I am truly sad that I won't be attending this year, but we have decided to celebrate with our friends that have children Jack's age. So, we will be trick-or-treating in the fabulous Ross Bridge neighborhood. On a side note... I am also disappointed that we won't be in or own neighborhood because they are doing a "trunk-or-treat" in one of the cul-de-sacs.
We should have lots of new photos after this weekend, since Saturday is the annual Bivona Turkey Fry. Until then, remember last year?

A Fun Saturday
Jack and I attended a birthday party, this morning, for a friend we used to go to story time with. Jason finished removing the toilet and cabinet and ripping up tile from the guest bath. After that was all accomplished we went to a Fall Festival in Mount Laurel....
He walked over to the Celtic music and just stood in front of them by himself. (I know Fionnuala will be proud)

Jack likes to...
Open any drawer that he can reach (even ones that he can't see in)...
Play with mommy's weights...
Put shoes on your feet...
Try to eat with a fork...
Play in his corner...
And, apparently, look at the camera sideways...
What are the chances? I was in Sam's today and what caught my eye? Not only a book with a Dugan lookalike on the cover, but the word, "Dewey". After taking a closer look, there was no way I was leaving there without a book about a kitten who was put through a book return slot and then lived 19 years in a public library. I absolutely can't wait to read it. I love true stories about animals. I cried and cried during the end of Marly and Me. On another note... someone once asked me why is it that librarian's alway like cats? hmmm.
By the way, the cat's name was Dewey Readmore Books.

Fall Festival
You know it's gotten bad, when my twin brother tells me I haven't posted in awhile. Unfortunately, I don't have any new pictures. But, I will tell you about what we did this evening. It was my school's Fall Festival. I debated whether or not to bring Jack, but in the end, I drove 40 minutes home to get Jack and bring him back to Concord. I naively thought that he would be shy the whole time and hide his face. Well, after about 20 minutes, he wanted to run like the wind. Because of the potential rain, they moved it into the PE building. It was packed!! Hundreds of students, siblings, parents, and grandparents. Every time I picked Jack up, he would scream and writhe for me to put him down. After about an hour of chasing him through a sea of people, I couldn't take it any more. I was afraid he was going to get hurt. So, we went home.
