Am I Dreaming?

Am I really at home with a sick son, 4 days after getting tubes?

Did he really vomit 5 times, last night?

Did he really wake up 10 times, last night?

Is really wearing Christmas pjs because Jason changed him 3 times?

Did he really have to have 2 baths because he vomited in his crib?

Have I ever seen him that pale and shaking, before?

POOR BABY.

A Brave Little Boy

Jack did great, this morning! We woke him up and hit the road about 6am. They took him back around 7:30 and we were home at8:30am. We never saw one tear. He didn't cry when they took him and he wasn't crying when they brought him back. I was so proud of him. I think he really enjoyed hanging out there. It was funny to see so many kids and adults wandering around the hallways at 6:30am.

My favorite part of the day was when they took his blood pressure. She put the cuff on him and he held his arm straight out to the side. It looked funny.

Lots to Say...

Jack has had nonstop double ear infections, since last Fall. Even when there is not an infection, his ears are full of fluid. Well, his doctor decided it was time to have an ENT look into it. We knew before we even saw the ENT that Jack was going to need tubes in his ears. So, tomorrow morning at 6:30am, Jack will have tubes put in his ears. Of course I am a little anxious about the procedure, but Jason and I can't wait for him to feel better.

Jack and I spent the weekend in Huntsville visiting with Uncle James, Aunt Jen, and Cousin Will. We don't get to see will, often, so we jump at every chance. It was a nice visit. Jack likes to go into Will's room and peer over the edge of his PacknPlay. Also, he always likes getting to see their dogs. He is starting to build a friendship with Gigabyte. I told James we would be more than happy to babysit Gig for a few weeks. But, I think Jason would not be happy, if I showed up with a dog.

Grandad loves his grandsons

Abby got mad at me for taking pictures. She whined because I wouldn't pick up the frisbee and throw it.

Gig gave me an annoyed look after this picture and left her spot in the sun to get away from me.

Waffles for breakfast at the island. Who needs a high chair?

Is he for hire? I could desperately use an aide to shelve the books in my library.
