Sam and Dugan are in Trouble Now!

He only looks Sad.

Aunt Jennifer called to check on Jack because he has been looking sad in his pictures. Don't worry. He is happy as can be. I'll post some more smiling pictures.

Go Badgers!

If he was in Wisconsin, right now, he'd have about 5 more layers on! James said it feels like this winter has been worse than the past.

Libby McClendon's Birthday

Jack was invited to celebrate Libby McClendon's 2nd Birthday. We had a lot of fun. It was at a kid's play gym in Vestavia. Jack was definitely the youngest, but Marina was there too. He loved the ball pit.

On Verge on Crawling

Jack is very close to crawling. However, I do believe it will be another 3 or 4 weeks. He loves to rock forward and pause on his hands and knees. Then, he just goes "splat" with his arms and legs out. It is cute.

Uncle John stopped by for a visit, today. He held Jack and played with him. Jack kept trying to grab John's face.

Is he doing push-ups?

Snow, again!

I can't believe that Jack experienced snow twice in one week. That is kind of rare for Alabama. I bet I haven't seen snow on the ground in ten years. The last time I can really remember was my freshman year of college in 1997.

Luckily, we had grandparents in town, so we could get a family pic.

Brrr!!

It is cold! Jack experienced snow for the first time. It snowed very hard in Hunstville.

Sitting by himself.

Jack can officially sit by himself. I don't even put a pillow behind him, anymore. He does fall sometimes, so I definitely would never put him near a piece of furniture or something he could fall on. But, I feel very comfortable putting him the in the middle of room with a toy, while I do something.

Today, we visited a friend of mine that has a 3 week old baby. His name is Ronin. I assumed his name was Irish, like Fionnuala's brother, but she said it is Japanese. Jack looked like a grown child next to him. I can' t believe he was ever that small.

Here are some pictures of jack wearing the Grateful Dead onsie that Jeff bought him for Christmas. I can already tell that he is going to like music as much as Jason.

This picture is funny because my mom's hair looks like it is part of Jack's head. It really makes the shirt appropriate.

Aldridge Gardens

What a beautiful day! Jack and I made a short trip to visit Aldridge Gardens. We strolled around the gardens for a little while and then played on the grass. It was a great time to take pictures, but I couldn't get him to look up into the camera, since the sun was so bright.

Happy New Year!

I am excited to begin a whole New Year. It's going to be hard to beat 2007, though! We had originally planned to ring in the New Year, at home, but another plan presented itself, last weekend. The Bivona's invited us and the Cofield's to watch the Auburn game and then spend the night at their house. We had a lot of fun. Jack stayed up until 9pm and Marina was awake until even later. I don't know how they slept through the noise that we were making. We felt like zombies, yesterday. We hung out all day at the Bivona's and Lisa cooked us a "lucky" meal.

I feel like we have been going strong, since Thanksgiving. I am ready to get some more structure back into Jack's day. Lately, he has found his scream, which is cute when directed at the cats. It's not so cute, when we are trying to put him to sleep. haha. I think he needs some "down time" as much as we do.

War Eagle!

Lisa, Kristy, and me

As usual, Jack loved their dog, Marley.

Marley with her alien.

Marina Bivona

This is the only "after midnight" picture that I am going to share. It all went downhill from there. We danced and did karaoke until the wee hours of the morning. Unfortunately, the karaoke machine wouldn't work. So, notice Jason holding a microphone that was not plugged in. Like that was going to stop him!
