Uncle David and Aunt Sarah

Jack and I had a wonderful trip to North Carolina. It took us 11 hours to get there, but we took our time. I decided to speed things up and it took us 9 hours to get home. I wish we could have stayed a little longer, but we'll take what we can get. On Saturday morning, Jack, David, and I went to the Museum of Life and Science. (Sarah had to sleep because she got home about 8am from her, second, night shift) Then, we came home and watched that amazing Auburn Football Game. On Sunday, we went to the mall, early, and the drove out to a pumpkin patch, in the afternoon.

Here are a lot of pictures from our trip...

This was one of the first things that Jack did. All he talked about the rest of the time, at the museum, was wanting to go back to the water pumps.

Jack liked the drums.

Actually, Jack liked all of the instruments.

It was impossible to get a picture where they were both smiling and had their eyes open. But, that's the way I feel about Jason. He always closes his eyes, in pictures.

Jack really seemed to like the mist area.

If you beat on this "drum", it would blow air and make the reflectors shimmer.

Aw, this reminded me of home.

The best I could do for a picture of the two of us.

Our first train ride of the weekend.

The museum wore him out.

The mall wore him out. He slept all of the way to the Pumpkin Patch.

He didn't want to wake up.

What a sweet picture.

Jack waited, patiently, for an hour, to ride the train.

That's a lot of corn.

I asked Sarah why she had a stroller full of pumpkins.

Jack chose pumpkins for all of us. Fortunately, he didn't notice when we secretly switched them out for better looking pumpkins.

Roxy is an amazing dog. She has the has the most gentle temper and the saddest face. I think that she is beautiful.

Their cute house.

On another note:

1. We send out lots of prayers for Will, tonight. He his undergoing his second sleep study. We hope, so much, that he will be given the OK to remove the trach.

2. I believe that a congratulations is in order for Joe, who became engaged, while visiting Lilly, in Italy. It's been an exciting year for Jason's side of the family.
