Happy

For some reason, I especially missed Jack, today. He still cries, when I leave for work, and when Jason leaves him at daycare.

Then, this happened when I picked him up:

They were on the playground and he ran to me, so I picked him up. I don't normally do this, but I decided to carry him through the hallway and out to the parking lot. Halfway down the hallway, he hugs me around the neck and says, loudly, "this is MY mommy". He sounded so proud. It made my day.

Tag Team

Well, Kiki and Gdad finally get a week off. Things have been going better than expected, but I know that they are in need of this week, at home. We are looking forward to the arrival of LeeLee and Big J, today. Daddy and Uncle Jim are at the Indy Race. I hope they are having fun. This is what the boys and I have been up to; playing hide and seek and styling Holden's hair...

By the way, Jack got to play with all sorts of friends, this weekend. On Friday evening, Kelcy and Karsen Cofield came over and played. Jack had fun with Karsen, the are close to the same age. Then, on Saturday, we went to Marina Bivona's third birthday party. Jack and Marina are 9 weeks apart. Marina's little brother and Holden are about 6 weeks apart.

Easter Weekend

We loaded everybody up and headed to Andalusia for Easter. It was the first time that I have been out of town, since Thanksgiving and it was nice to get away from Birmingham, for the weekend. We had a good time while we were there. Jack got to play 9 holes of golf with daddy and Big J. He really enjoyed it. On Easter, we got to visit with Aunt Susu and Uncle Jim.
